Which political issues are you most passionate about?

The big political issues that I am most passionate about are benefit fraud and immigration.  I am also passionate about the issues that we are discussing in UKYP.

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

I think that the biggest issue for young people in my constituency is the lack of places for them to go. I also think that this issue contributes to the many reasons why youth crime and anti-social behaviour is committed.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

With the aid of the other D/MYPs in Solihull and the West Midlands, I hope to at least make a difference if not resolve the main issue in my constituency. I would also like to carry out surveys and find out things that other young people want.

What is your future career ambition?

I would like to become a forensic pathologist. To achieve this, I must get into university. I believe that by having youth parliament on my CV will help me get a bigger chance of getting there.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

I most admire the singer Anastacia because she was the first singer I knew, she has fought cancer and she is a big inspiration to me. Plus, I think her songs are really good.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

If there was one message that I could send to the government, it would be ‘time is money, don’t waste it.’ I think this because the government has been using a lot of money recently (expenses scandal etc.)  So I think this will be good, especially around the time of the election, where lots of time may be wasted.
