-------------------------------------------------------- Which political issues are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about there being a positive image of and places to go and things to do for young people. I think the image portrayed of young people today is very unjust and no one seems to see that it’s a major issue in the way young people can go about in therir day to day life. What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency? I mostly think it's young people not knowing where the youth centres are and the places they can hang out at which are FREE What do you hope to achieve during your term of office? I want to get UKYP more known about to my fellow youths because some people don’t even know it exists and getting a better portrayal of young people in the media and advertising places they can go and things they can do. What is your future career ambition? When I’m older I would like to be an actress and global ambassador. This is because I don’t generally think people have much trust in politicians and with a media icon people pay attention to your causes, plus I just love acting. Which public figure do you most admire and why? I wouldn’t say there is anyone I’m especially inspired by or admire that much at this moment in time. But there are some great people out there. I’m just hard to impress I guess. :) If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be? Listen to the youth of today because we are the future - it doesn’t help to make your future voters not have any trust in you. Additional comments: I’m Lexia, your MYP, but I’m also a young person so here’s a few quick facts about me: I love music, mostly metal, I love art and drama and I want to see the world as much as I can. The chances life throw at me I will grab with both hands and be glad they got chucked at me.
