Which political issues are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about mental health for disadvantaged young people. This is key to what young people want in their future, getting a job, having a family etc. If they have a problem with mental health how are they going to overcome this?

What do you feel is the biggest issue for young people in your constituency?

Education! Our constituency needs to focus on education. WE are lacking behind on attendance and behaviour. If we can improve the standards of education more school leavers will be walking out of the door with better GCSE levels.

What do you hope to achieve during your term of office?

To hopefully have completed my campaign, this is to open a youth club in my area. Also to have contributed enough in my constituency’s campaign and also in the regional campaign which is focused on mental health.

What is your future career ambition?

To either become a politician and hopefully become the first black prime minister OR join the police service and go into either traffic or air support.

Which public figure do you most admire and why?

Jeremy Kyle. Because even though he might have to shout etc, he still gets to the bottom of things. He wants people to walk off his stage thinking that he’s helped them in some way or other.

If there was one message you could send to the government, what would it be?

Work with us not against us. Youths aren’t just criminals and ‘up to no good’. We have brilliant ideas stored away ready for the future.
