UK Youth Parliament Transport Viral- la la la la la!

Ever felt stranded? Know where you want to go but just can't get there? We know how you feel. This video takes a *cough* serious look at the difference good and bad public transport can make to a young person's life.

At the UK Youth Parliament we believe that all under 18s in full-time education should be allocated a national concession card to use public transport. This would:
• make buses and trains more accessible to young people;
• allow access to leisure facilities;
• create a cleaner environment as a consequence of cutting down car use;
• create the same freedom that pensioners enjoy, as like pensioners, young people in full time education do not have an income and are reliant on public transport.

Help us make a difference. You can do so in the following ways:
• Complete our survey (if you live in the UK) or sign our petition (wherever you live!) at: http://www.ukyp.org.uk/faresfair;
• Watch this video as many times as you can (to a maximum of 200 before your IP gets blocked), so it can get into the 'top viewed' categories. You do not have to watch the whole video every time (only a couple of seconds of it), so you can generate over 10 views a minute! Don't worry if the 'times viewed' number doesn't increase immediately. It can take a few minutes for the system to catch up.
• Add a link to it if you have a youtube account.
• Rate it, so it gets into the top rated list of the day.
• Add it as a favourite, so it gets into that top list, too. We may only need 200 people to add it to their favourites to make the day's list.
• Post the link onto your bebo, facebook or any other site you own.
• Search for other youtube videos related to the tags on this video (do your own search or just click on any of the tags below the video), go to the most popular videos in that category, and post the following text: 'If anyone's interested in finding out more about this kind of thing, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwWIBD... to see the UK Youth Parliament's youth-led campaign on public transport for young people; it's something that has the potential to change many lives for the better if the campaign gets enough attention.'
• Some of the best known virals are circulated via e-mail. Send a link to the video in an email to everyone in your address books with a caption like 'Check this out: young people trying to make a difference in the UK. Also very funny!'

The UK Government has recently admitted that they know this is a problem, featuring transport in 'Aiming High', the ten-year strategy for youth. We need to provide further details of just how important an issue this is for young people.
