On 19th February 2009, Members of the UK Youth Parliament (MYPs) will be holding a key summit to discuss whether public transport should be more
accessible, more affordable and
more young person friendly.
The summit, to be held in central London, is expected to attract over 150 people, including MYPs, MPs, government ministers, transport providers and other influential decision makers.
The summit will include:
- Workshops demonstrating how to involve young
people in transport planning
- What exactly young people want in their public
transport journey
- Showcasing of best practice
- Ministerial Q&A
- Young people Q&A
