Don't get rid - get recycling

Every year, 18 million new mobile phones are bought, yet fewer than five per cent of old and unwanted handsets get recycled.

Have a rummage around at home and see how many old mobiles, digital cameras, iPods are lying around- useless?

1000 schools.
Help us reach the target of 1000 schools signed up to 'don't get rid - get recycling' to send the message to Government that ALL recycling should be free for schools.

Your gadgets.

Then what?
Recycled.
Oxfam will use the cash generated from your old gadgets to provide tools, seeds, schoolbooks and lots of other things for countries like Ghana and Sri Lanka.
The gadgets that can't be recycled are broken down by each component and recycled.

That old phone doesn't seem so useless now, click here for more facts
