The Sex Education Forum today published a report into on-site sexual health services in secondary schools, and pupil referral units (PRUs), finding that of the 2,185 schools surveyed, 29% had an on-site sexual health service.
The first national survey of its kind, based on information from 70% of English Local Authorities, the results are a sign that young people are able to get help early and easily- giving crucial one-to-one advice about their health and wellbeing as well as access to contraception, pregnancy and STI testing services if needed.
